The garden becomes a city
Revelation 21–22 does not end with humanity escaping earth. The holy city descends. God dwells with His people. The river of life flows, the tree of life heals the nations, the curse is removed and the servants of God see His face.
Eden restored and expanded
The Bible’s final vision gathers the patterns planted in its opening pages: sacred presence, fruitful creation, precious stones, river, tree and human vocation. Yet restoration is not mere repetition. The untested garden becomes a city filled with a faithful, proven people. What was entrusted at the beginning reaches mature fulfillment. No more curse
Death, mourning, crying and pain belong to the former order. Evil is not endlessly recycled. God makes all things new, and nothing unclean corrupts the city. The knowledge of God is no longer partial or contested; His presence fills everything.
They shall see His face
The heart of the eternal Kingdom is unbroken relationship with the King. His servants worship and serve Him, bear His name and reign forever. Authority and nearness finally stand together without rebellion, abuse or exile.
The Kingdom prepared before the foundation of the world reaches its goal: God dwelling openly with humanity in renewed creation. The story that began with a garden closes with a Genesis beyond another fall.
